Free Healthcare for All!!!

On this beautifu Sunday morning, as I get ready to go to work, I watch the disturbing news that there is very likely going to be enough voted to pass the president's healthcare bill. A few things that keep running through my mind, though:

1) If the bill is so great, why is it necessary for the IRS to add 15,000 new agents? This actually raises a couple more questions:
a) Doesn't this fact bother anyone? The IRS is almost as hated an institution as the KKK, yet nobody seems to have a problem with the addition of even more agents. Agents that are hired for one insidious purpose: to MAKE you buy health insurance.
b) In an economy that needs more jobs in the private sector, why is the president so eager to add even more burden to taxpayers by padding the offices of government employees. It doesn't seem to make sense.

2) Popular opinion seems to be in favor of scrapping this bill and starting over, yet our elected officials don't seem to be concerned about the opinions of their constituents. Where did they find the unmitigated gall to just do what they want and, in doing so, basically tell their constituency to 'shut up and go away?'

3) How can anyone believe that this healthcare bill will result in anything less than socialized medicine? The president and many of his minions have publicly stated their support and desire for a single payer type of insurance in this country. Anyone who believes that this healthcare bill is going to result in anything less than the same type of healthcare available in Canada, Cuba, England or Venezuela should explain how I
it is going to be different.

The worst is yet to come. Like it or not, this president is as progressive as Karl Marx. He has dedicated his life to taking from one and giving to another. His record and his words support this. Healthcare is one of the ways he will realize his dream of an American Utopia.

God help us.
